Interesting. The main sparring partner for Sukhotsky for this was his last opponent, Joey Vegas, who gave him a surprisingly hard fight in a tuneup.

 

Round 1

Sukhotsky is sitting back on his right foot, riding his weight away from Stevenson, pawing with jabs. Right hand by Sukhotsky as Stevenson pauses his rightward circling to feel out distance with a body jab. Sukhotsky is jabbing under the elbow of Stevenson. 1-2 by Stevenson, in and leaning out. Stevenson comes in waving a right hook but eases off before Sukhotsky can counter with a left hook. Both a bit nervous and tight. 1-2 by Stevenson, ducked and countered with a scooping right on the body from Sukhotsky.

10-9 Sukhotsky, close, nobody did much.
