An eight rounder between Arash Usmanee and Innocent Anyanwu just wrapped up, and the decision is forthcoming.

Having only had a look at the last couple of rounds, it seemed as though Anyanwu was pressing the action and making Usmanee uncomfortable. From the highlights they're showing he was doing that all night.

He will probably lose anyway.

 

Usmanee has his hands raised, and looks sheepish about it.

Anyanwu laughs but doesn't complain. He bows graciously and hears it from the crowd.

 

Oscar Rivas vs. Ivika Perkovic, 8 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Rivas is 8-0 (5), Perkovic is 15-12 (11).

 

Round 1

Rivas is tossing some long right hands over his jab, and getting shoved back by Perkovic after falling in. Perkovic slaps out with some very wide hooks and misses as Rivas bows his head. Right hand by Rivas. Jabs out of the tight guard by Rivas. Perkovic keeps swinging and missing.

Round 2

Rivas is sticking his jab in Perkovic's face and then leaning in with his spine curled and fists glued to his face to take the wide swings of the fat Croatian on his shield. Perkovic is ROCKED by a quick rainbow right hand from Rivas. They clinch roughly and shake each other around the ring. Rivas ducks and pokes the body. Another big overhand right by Rivas, missing. Wild swing and miss by Perkovic. Huge overhand right by Rivas, and a left hook. BIG RIGHT HAND! PERKOVIC WOBBLES!! UPPERCUT!!! Down goes Perkovic in a heap!! He beats the count. Rivas slams away with overhand rights, and ducks under Perkovic's lazy jab. Another knockdown. Perkovic scrapes himself up again. He beats the count again.

Round 3

Rivas opens up with hooks and overhands and chops Perkovic back to the ropes. Perkovic tries uselessly to fend him off, but to no avail. Rivas is landing at will. Big right hand, left hook combo scores a knockdown. Perkovic isn't allowed to continue.

TKO3!!!!!!

 

Dierry Jean vs. Ryan Barrett, 8 rounds @ light welterweight

 

Dierry Jean is 20-0 with 13 stoppages.

Ryan Barrett is 25-9-3 with five.

 

Round 1

Jean backs Barrett up with his jab, and some lead rights to the body. Barrett tries to flurry off the ropes and land a big left hand lead over the top, but Dean ducks him too quickly to be touched and counters with the right well. Big flurry by Dean and down goes Barrett, slumping to the canvas. Somehow Barrett beats the count! Saved by the bell.

10-8 Dean

 

Round 2

Barrett is dropped again! Dean explodes on him with a burst of straight right hands to the face and left hooks to the body. Barrett gamely fights his way off the ropes but is taking three or four for every one he lands. Dean is toying with him. Big 1-2, with the jab catching Barrett in the face and the right knocking the wind out of him down at the diaphragm. Barrett takes a lengthy count before again beating it and again being saved by the bell.

Round 3

One more BIG knockdown by Dean while smashing away with Barrett against the ropes, punctuated by a big body shot - and Barrett is crawling across the ring on his hands and knees. That is it!!

TKO3!!!!!!

 

The main event is coming up! It should be over in time to not overlap with the Showtime card! :happy
