Not to start any arguments but Kova lost that one. But so what? He lost to one guy and that one guy happened to be really ****ing good. There is a definite possibility that Ward gets into the Hall of Fame.
    No shame in that loss.
But you forgot Cleverly and i would maybe even add Campillo. Campillo schooled Cloud a year prior, he should have held a belt.

Kovalev has been around for so long now, these new guys wont be able to catch up anytime soon.

Gvosyk takws time to find his range is the main problem also when he is at his range it's a good range for stevenson. But in that kind of battle the nail would out box him. Nails last flight was more questionable than stevebsons. There's a realistic level of risk for gvosyk. He's been hit at range from less clever boxers and even hurt and dropped. The nail is the kind of fighter who could be stopped by a joe smith early even. Or take him to school.

If Stevenson doesnt hurr the nail within 4. He will lose from the 5th onward possonly be stopped.
    Nail will be the favourite

If you count Cleverly. Then you have to give Stevenson credit for bellew. I always felt kovalev was missing a defining fight. I was saying for a long while JDD was a bad fit for Kovalev. I didnt see kovalev ward 1 as a blowout.. i saw it as him losijg the second half of the fight badly. And kovalevs trainer not letting him know . If ward did enough to win it is another debate but i wont even humour scores other than 114-113 either way. The fight was close there are very few close rounds.

Rematch all trust was lost and kovalec fought like david lemieux. Wasting punches to land a few. He was able to land some but he wasted so many. Some of the "low blows" werent even low. The last shot was on the nuts though. But Kovalev looked 100% knackered to the point of no return. jdd is why Kovalev lost thoss fights. And not sure if Kovalev has lost a step.

But, after all, the controversy is about the amount of money, so the fight should happen even if Gvozdyk will be paid less... I guess, at least...

I haven't seen anything about this fight for several weeks now.

Is it really going to happen or is Adonis ducking again?

Before the Usyk-Gassiev fight, when Gvozdyk was asked about "your next fight" he was quite specific — November 3, Quebec City. So, I think both sides are preparing for the fight.

This. Kovalev started strong in the first fight, but Ward isn't a guy that gives up easily. After the knockdown Ward found Kovalev kept leaving his body exposed and he started relentlessly attacking Kovalev's body from rounds 4-10. By the championship rounds Kovalev had barely any stamina left because of all the body shots. After the knockdown Kovalev started coasting and let the fight slip away.

In the second fight Ward already knew that if he took took away Kovalev's jab and went straight to the body that Kovalev would be harmless.

Why did Stevenson wait so long to step up, he could of been fighting the top guys in his prime instead of now...

Stevenson is shot :/. A got a prime Stevenson by murder. Gvozdyk too young and too much stamina for this 40 year old Stevenson.
