Assuming this fight gets made as Gvozdyk is Adonis's new mandatory, how do you see this fight playing out?

Is Gvozdyk fundamentally sound enough to outbox Adonis? will Adonis knock out The Nail? can Adonis handle Gvozdyk's jab?

Would you consider the Nail as Adonis's toughest or most skilled opponent yet? more than Badou Jack?

If Gvozdyk were to survive the early rounds, he would probably stop Stevenson.

This. Gvozdyk has a lot of skill and more than enough power to stop anybody at 175, but I'm still not crazy about when he gets sloppy on his defense, since that could cost him even against a forty year old Stevenson, who isn't as fast or sharp as he used to be, but still has his power.

Yes, undoubtedly. Gvozdyk has excellent technique, courtesy of an excellent amateur career. In particular, his jab, straight right and left hook are very good, and he moves very well.

Someone with a left as good as Stevenson's cannot be written off, if Gvozdyk gets sloppy he could get caught. Unfortunately Gvozdyk has been sloppy in some fights, e.g. Amar and Karpency. However, when he's in with better or more dangerous opposition, e.g. Chilemba, Mohammedi, Gonzalez, he has been much more focussed. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Yes in my view, based on eye test. Gvozdyk has excellent technique and he's a lot bigger than Badou Jack, in fact he's easily the biggest of the top LHWs. The height and reach advantage makes his jab particularly difficult to counter.

I'm going with "The Nail" by late stoppage.
Jack already came close to beating him, and he's not top5 at LHW imo. I think Gvozdyk rates just below the current beltholders (Kovalev, Bivol, Pimp, Beterbiev) though.

Gvozdyk may not be as good a boxer as I once thought, his trainer is garbage (though maybe a nice guy as a person) but, nevertheless, I'm still quite sure Gvozdyk would win in this fight.

    Gvozdyk would win by KO/TKO.

But I think Stevenson will likely avoid him.

i think stevenson is a one trick pony, but gvozdyk did get knocked by karpency, so yeh stevenson early stoppage or gvozdyk late stoppage.

I pick the nail. If he can weather the early storm he will beat Stevenson.

Uncle Al will kill Stevenson away from him, but I do think this is a good fight. Adonis pace has slowed as he's aged, which takes some of the risk of an early KO away from Gvozdyk, but Adonis does have great timing.

I'd expect Nail to be up on the cards but the fight to feel in doubt as we see if Adonis can land a crushing counter.

Gvozdyk via TKO/KO late is the most likely outcome.

Stevenson looks very old and not capable of doing more than 6 rounds without gassing. Jack should have got the job done when he had the chance, but he has always lacked that killer instinct.
