What ever happened with David Lemieux vs. Marcus Upshaw?

Was it before I tuned in? Did it get dropped from the card?

And why should he be? Surely there are better business options for him? Not that I personally don't want to see Stevenson-Kovalev, but after two high-profile wins in a row, it only makes sense that his team will proceed with caution in an effort to maximize earnings.

What I have read about his past disgusts me and any honest, reformed man would probably feel life long shame for that, which Stevenson does not really seem to show.

Having said that, he is still a great boxer. Kovalev has caused a similar amount of saddness to Stevenson but from entirely different, accidental and forgivable circumstances when he killed an opponent. He seems to feel a great deal of shame for that as well.

I would no doubt be supporting Kovalev if they fought but they are both great and exciting fighters.

Bout time to see HBO put it's foot back on the pedal.

Seemed all the action ("momentum") had swung to Showtime. :!:

It took Bradley months to recover from that beating he took from Provodnikov.

I don't think he will ever fully recover from that.

It's relevant to whether people (anyone who isn't a ****) wants to see him KTFO.

If he raped and killed your mom, would you still think his past was irrelevant and watch his in-ring performances objectively?

You're probably right. A fighter usually tells you he's fully recovered from that beating, but the reality is that a beating like that will linger for a long time.

As we've seen in the NFL...you don't truly recover from a concussion.
