Williams is a legit top 10 contender. Stevenson could do a hell of a lot worse.

The more money he makes through boxing, the less likely he will prey on the weak for money.

Chickenson running from Kovalev. But he wouldn't beat Beterbiev, or Gvozdyk either

Obviously Kovalev isn't gonna happen (both sides are to blame),

No one wants to see a Fonfara fight with Stevenson again (first fight wasn't close enough to warrant one)

Beterbiev is coming off an injury, his people won't put him in with Stevenson just like that.

Pascal, is on his last legs from the two Kovalev beatings, the fight doesn't have much appeal anymore.

Elieder Alvarez is no better of a pick than Williams.

How can Kovalev be blamed for that? His contract obliges him to fight on HBO it is not like he has a choice.

On one hand WIlliams isn't anyone's first choice as an opponent and the fight in general is only mildly interesting.

On the other hand Williams stock does rise after his win over Rodriguez. Stevenson will be pushing 39 and on a 10 month layoff by fight time and Williams can punch so an upset wouldn't be a tremendous shock.

Williams is a better challenger then the last several of Stevenson's opponents and I think it might be a fun fight while it lasts as well.

Wiliams wouldn't be my first choice as an opponent but I'm ok with him overall.

    Good fight.

The guy who just blew away D-Rod is more deserving of a title shot that the guy who just lost to Elieder Alvarez.

The double standards are a sad joke when it comes to these two.

    It's E-Rod, it you who's the D-Rod.

And as far as that win goes... he just KO'd a guy who was mere seconds away from being brutally KTFO by yes......Michael Seals.....who?

And you've clearly never seen the Alvarez-Chilemba fight, it was ridiculously close, I and many others on the RBR had it a draw. Many of the rounds could have gone either way. Chilemba is a good fight against a fighter who has a good chin, who's never been stopped and is tricky enough to prepare him for Ward somewhat. Williams Jr. couldn't KO Campillo, and was almost KO'd by another Kovalev victim in Cornelius White, which is just flat out embarrassing.
