Spotted an ageing fighter on the slide.... tick Chance to drag a boxer who's beaten him before up weight division for the rematch..... tick I'd say the chances of AS vs Bellew are good....
Bellew talked about this as he was clearly hoping that Stevenson is shot so he could get himself another David Haye type win. But he showed he still has a bit left at the top level so the fight won't happen.
Stevenson won the fight but you cannot argue with a draw, and if Bellend is so confident why doesnt he drop down to LHW and sign for a rematch? Stevenson might be old now, and lacking in stamina to do 12 rounds at a good pace but he would still be favourite in a fight in 6 months time against Bellend at LHW. No one here is fooled Bellend by you beating the corpse of Haye twice.
Bellew knocks him out in short fashion now. A green Bellew lost to a peak Stevenson, now Bellew is peak and Stevenson is on the slide. Bellew KO3
Stevenson has strike power and can handle 12 rounds of attrition. Bellew is in need of luck to win this fight. Going by his last 2 fights - bellew might be out of luck the next one
Not sure if you being serious?! 3 rounds bigman?! What makes you think he sparks him inside 3? I hope this fight happens..would give Bellew more of a chance then the first time around but i still think Stevenson beats him (however i did think Haye would best him both time they fought so i could easily be wrong!)
What weight are we talking about? Bellew can't get down to 175 and be effective, and The Pimp might not be any good at 190. Anything in between and The Pimp starches him....AGAIN...because Bellew is crap at any weight.
As long as the weight isn't 185+, obviously Stevenson. But I highly doubt we ever see Bellew come in much lighter than his fights versus Haye... Definitely do not see this happening so long as Adonis still holds the belt and cards at 175. Maybe in a year or two after Adonis loses and decides to move up to get a cashout at cruiserweight it may be possible but I suspect by then that Bellew also will have lost big... Bellew does not deserve a sliver of the talk and praise he has gotten since beating Haye.
