Bizier is loading up on his 1-2 and seeking out the southpaw while swiveling around to keep up with him. Dan circles him, moves in with the right jab up top and builds into flurries up and down, then gets out. Bizier drills a few straight rights into Dan's nose but can't slow him down. Lots of clinching in the last minute. Double right jabs by Dan landing, in and out. Bizier reaches and grazes with his straight right.

Round 4

Bizier is throwing hard 1-2s coming forward, unable to land as Dan flits side to side and rolls in with his upper body leaned down and slaps hooks into Bizier's sides. Bizier is missing badly with his overextended 1-2 and growing less straight with his punches, roaming after Dan as he moves laterally in between trips parachuting in with body punches. Bizier is whipped across the face by a left hand and then a right hook. Bizier is swinging and missing, going for a KO shot. Dan is leaning into Bizier, shoving him off and then flurrying into his body.

Dan was a light welterweight for a while, and Bizier has actually fought at middleweight - but Dan looks much bigger. (as well as more experienced, better conditioned, with a higher aptitude for throwing in combinations, and just plain more comfortable in the ring)

 

Round 5

Bizier is firing the right hand lead into Dan's abdomen, falling in with it. Dan is just poking him with the right jab rather than unloading combos, seemingly taking a bit of a break. Left hook counter by Bizier as Dan is jumping in looking to land a cluster of quick body shots. Dan tries sniping with the left hand lead, pushing up on the balls of his feet to launch himself inside and then backing out after only lightly grazing the body of Bizier.

The first was a total hometown robbery. He basically did what he is doing tonight and stymied the very limited and slow puncher.

In the rematch, however, Aydin deserved it very clearly. He landed the harder and more effective blows throughout. Dan just wasn't as good that night.
