Bizier is throwing his right hand, curling it around Dan's back. Dan falls to the mat. Slip. Bizier is clinched repeatedly as Dan bends forward, squeezing Bizier's hips. Bizier is put in a headlock. Break. Long 1-2 by Dan without moving his feet. Bizier is leading with the right hand, falling in. Body shot by Dan, borderline low. They clasp together and spin. Both down. Judo toss!! Bizier looks annoyed. Dan clinches, draping his arm over Bizier's neck. Bizier angrily smashes at Dan's kidneys with both fists. Getting ugly. The ref breaks them up and deducts a point from Dan for holding and pulling down on Bizier's head constantly.

He fought the likes of Arguello and Buchanan, and beat guys like Sean O'Grady and previously undefeated Howard Davis (who captured the Val Barker trophy - basically the p4p #1 award for gold medalists - at the 1976 Olympics, when his teammates included Sugar Ray Leonard and Michael & Leon Spinks...)

 

Round 11

Bizier is hauling the right hand overhead and getting it caught in the air by Dan. Lots of wrestling. Bizier is unable to land before he gets clinched. A few light southpaw jabs on the cheek by Dan in between jumps in to clinch.

Round 12

Dan is pumping the right jab and pressing into Bizier, ripping at his body with both gloves. Bizier chases him out with some right hands between the eyes but Dan keeps returning, doubling the right jab, sometimes lashing up from the hip to conserve energy and lacking his previous speed but still able to significantly outwork Bizier. Cut on Bizier's left eye. Jabs, body flurries, and clinches by Dan. Uppercuts and overhand rights by Bizier, missing and then bucking Dan off in the clinches.
