    Well, Lampley just explained it that way on national television and sure enough Jones isn't commentating anymore.

    Maybe they're still viewing it as being a conflict of interest since they're on bad terms, and just opting not to make that information public. :conf (although you heard it somewhere, so obviously it is public...)
