Adonis Stevenson vs. Tony Bellew & Sergey Kovalev vs. Ismayl Sillakh RBR

I can see the Froch v Stevenson in Vegas next. I think that maybe already planned if im honest. Stupid decision in my opinion if Froch takes this fight especially after he was exposed on last week v Groves. I do though think Stevenson is vulnerable as Bellew hurt him the times when he DECIDED to throw a shot and it landed which was not often.

 

It was the right call by the Ref. Bellew got sparked simple as. He was getting hurt badly and unable to defend himself as the replays clearly showed.

 

Does anybody know if Bute still holds the option for the Froch rematch? I wonder if the option had an expiration date. There has been zero talk of a rematch for this past year, but I wonder if Bute may think about taking it now after seeing Froch struggle vs Groves last week.

 

True, but I doubt it will make a dent into the poll. Most boxing fans in Quebec are casual and don't know much about what goes on outside of the province. They think they do, but they don't.

I know a bunch of people that were at the fight tonight and they had barely heard of Kovalev.

It may have opened a few eyes, but unlikely. Froch is a huge name here, having beat both Pascal and Bute. Hopkins too obviously.

I do think the Kovalev fight will happen in 2014 if Stevenson doesn't lose to someone else before. I think Froch will give Groves a rematch, and am kinda hoping for a scenario were Pascal decisively beats Bute to set up Pascal-Stevenson.

The replay clearly showed their fet were tangled. Just because you don't like Stevenson.

Just wait for the Kovalev fight and then you may see him beat up but he won every round tonight.

I know Stevenson has a past, so has Bellew, I don't like that side of Stevenson but he does seem a different guy to that charector from 15 years ago who committed those awful crimes.

At the end of the day their is no doubt he is a top boxer. I think Stevenson vs. Kovalev is a 50/50 fight that would likely not go past 6.

 

Well if you are saying it was a KD you are saying it was a 10-8 round to Bellew. A judge has the power to over rule a refferee on point deductions and knock-downs if they see fit.

The fact is though, the replay clearly shows that it was not a knock down and that no punch was landed. Simple as that, so if anyone is making themselves look like a "******" it isn't me.

just like i been saying......wish i could have bet on the exact punch i though was gonna end the fight.....but like i said...bellew always drops his right when he throws the left hook, aand he loves to throw the left hook!
