    His style is wrong for Kovalev, you need to be able to fight freestyle and use your forearms , shoulders, and gloves to block what Kovalev is sending in. Holding your hands high and moving your head won't when a shootout against Kovalev. Ward or Hopkins can shut down his offense but Kovalev is a trained assassin of pure boxers.

    Kind of. His activity of late has been really spotty, only boxing a handful of rounds (all with really poor opposition) since his upset of then-unbeaten Majewski two years ago. I would have figured he would look to capitalize on that momentum, but it seems that didn't work out for him. :conf
