    Lol well we have different beliefs but yea, I'm betting Adonis isn't too fond of Kovalev either.

    Kovalev's not that good? He's a better boxer than Stevenson. He's also naturally bigger than Stevenson. Stevenson's not that big. In the Bika fight, Stevenson weighed 174 lbs. Kovalev came into the Hopkins fight weighing 188 lbs. Also remember that Stevenson used to be a SMW. I don't think Kovalev could even make SMW.

    Who cares if he didn't KO Hopkins? He still schooled him.

    the thing is, kovalev is actually taller than adonis by an inch...but adonis has a 4 and a half inch reach advantage....72 1/2'' compared to 77"

    that reach advantage is significant, especially with regard to the fact that adonis is so much faster and quicker....adonis should be able to match kovalev's jab. he should much be faster with the counter, and given the fact that he's coming from a southpaw stance, he'll create even more problems for kovalev...add to all that, the fact that kovalev aint the fastest guy out there or the best defensively.

    Kovalev is bigger, has more weapons in his ****nal, stronger, has two-fisted KO power as opposed to Stevenson's one-handed KO power, and can box or punch.

    There's no question who the more skilled fighter of the two is.

    what does that mean ? i'm not sure if superwoman can even beat the 50 yr old hops.

    serg tried to ko hops in the 12th round and had him out on his feet more than half the round. hops knows how to survive and has a pretty damn good chin, unlike superwoman. he gets way too much credit for catching a way over confident Dawson cold.

    he tried like hell for ALL 12 rounds to ko bika and he couldn't, so what does that mean ?

    the only hope Stevenson has is to land the perfect left bombs, not sure since he isn't waiting to counter. he tries to lead which is a real no no with kov.

    Stevenson would be a huge dog, but possibly a live dog, he just doesn't have anything except the straight left, once in a while he throws a looping left and left uppercut but its 100% lefts. serge has every punch in the book from both hands. Stevenson would really be up against it if he ever agrees to fight kov.

    people hoping Stevenson for the win are really hoping Stevenson lands a lottery shot

    Also, Stevenson doesn't have the best stamina.

    And IMO, Kovalev has the better jab.

    y'all keep bringing up kovalev's skill....yes, i agree with you. kovalev is more skillful. he should be....dude had HUNDREDS of amateur fights. made a decent living honing and developing his fighting skills as an amateur on the russian government's payroll and under the tutelage of russia's premiere boxing coaches from early childhood. stevenson on the other hand walked into a gym as a teenager and learned to box mostly by teaching himself. so, naturally, kovalev is the more skilled fighter.

    however, i disagree with you that kovalev is stronger. adonis is a beast. far more muscle tone than the fleshy looking kovalev. yes, kovalev looked like a cruiserweight against hopkins, as both hopkins and ray mancini noted. however, i don't think weight alone will be a big factor.

    adonis is a shouthpaw....he's not just fast, he's also very quick and probably the most explosive puncher in boxing today. kovalev is slow and ponderous. kovalev is a relatively easy target to to hit...

    i do believe that it's gonna be a match up of skill and technique vs speed and power. unless kovalev fights out of a defensive shell, the left hand will catch kovalev in the first round and the second round...kovalev will go down in the third or fourth and out by the 5th or 6th.

    Stevenson isn't the most explosive puncher in boxing. Khan, Russell Jr, and Pacquiao are more explosive.

    Moron, I predicted very close UD for kovalev against hopkins, I predicted Kovalev to stop pascal , I predict floyd to wide UD pac and imo kovalev vs pimp is 50/50 fight, I'd favor GGG to beat quillin ,kovalev and pimp to KO beterbiev, but out of these three ,beterbiev is the only one that I'd favor to beat ward. I'll bet $6300 on floyd altough I think he's overrated and I like pac better, but my bets and predictions are based on boxing knowledge , not race .

    lol @ had hopkins out on his feet....hopkins wasn't even fazed by kovalev's robotic attack....hopkins is just 50 fcukin years old.

    didn't look to me like adonis was trying that hard to ko bika....he was winning the fight easy. really no incentive to go for the ko.
