I'm not being ignorant. You are because you clearly missed my break down of the fight. Adonis has only his left. Nothing else. He's not a good boxer in the slightest. Adonis has a punchers chance vs Kovalev, and that's only if Kovalev decides to go for the kill himself. If Kovalev keeps it at range. Adonis will be shown up very, very badly as the one dimensional counter-puncher he is.
Tbh he has a chance....he is the slicker and faster of the two...and all he needs is one punch and it's over. Kovalev has some big flaws. If you fight Kovalev confidently then you have a chance. It is the same with Golovkin. People are afraid of their power but the thing is most can handle it to a degree, it's just by the time they realise the power isn't going to kill them, it's too late...they're on the back foot and it's very very hard to stop momentum with guys like Kovalev and GGG. Adonis is a very confident fighter... I think if anyone besides Ward is to beat Kovalev, it is him. He has a chance
Stevenson is the definition of a one-handed fighter. Kovalev has more tools. Stevenson also tends to reach when he punches, is predictable, and drops his hands when he punches. I don't see him having much of a chance against Kovalev. Kovalev is the better boxer. He was able to outbox Hopkins, and outboxed Pascal. Stevenson is a counter-puncher. Kovalev is a boxer-puncher.
If this fight takes place . You and me will do a ban bet . I got Kovalev , you got Stevenson . You sound confident . So lets make this happen .
Beterbiev is one of the most overrated prospects around ....well, tbh, he only has 8 pro fights....but he had hundreds of amateur fights and fought at the highest levels as an amateur. still, his defense is lousy....very easy to hit. that's why he got dropped by page. he's also not very quick or fast. on the positive side, he's strong and he's obviously got good fundamentals and good punch. I wouldn't pay much attention to the campillo or cloud fights, though. both those guys have some some serious issues going on with them. At this rate, he'll probably shape up as a decent contender, but no great shakes...with his name recognition and the current state of the lh div, i'm sure he'll get a title shot pretty soon.
Allow me to correct you: what you're trying to say is, kovalev is the better boxer and adonis is the better puncher. This has already been established. Now, adonis also has the faster hands and he's a southpaw with a long reach. adonis is also very mobile around the ring. when you add it all up, it amounts to a helluva lot more than a "puncher's chance." Just ask any of the many adonis' victims who had a lot more skill and experience than him.
It was an old Bika, Bika looked as bad in his last fight. Kovalev is going to walk down and ko stevenson.
hopefuly it happens and stevenson gets put out of his misery for good, no one likes a s e x offender they should all be shot
