Adrian Broner "and the new Jeff Lacy..!"

Watching the Broner hypetrain get derailed by Maidana was one of the funniest moments in boxing history

 

Hamed's train derailed because he was beaten by a better fighter. And everybody knows it.

 

Not a terrible comparison, but Broner's better. He's talented. I would take either Postol or Crawford to beat him but wouldn't be shocked with him beating either.

 

Hamed was done by the time he fought Barrera. He had all the tools to be an ATG except for one, which is the dedication.

 

Broner is already light years beyond what Lacy achieved in boxing to suggest otherwise is ridiculous.:deal

 

Broner is a better fighter than lacy ever was. Broner has never been a lower B or C level fighter

 

Yeah. I agree with those who feel Broner is better than Lacy. The kid is very good. He's just not the best. 140 is a talent rich division. And he jumped up to 147 (to soon) to test himself against a very dangerous fighter in Maidana. He got put on the canvas. But, he finished the fight on his feet...and looked good in some of those later rounds. He fought a very experienced boxer in Paulie at 147 (in Paulie's backyard)...and got a close decision. Again he met Shawn Porter at 144 who is a beast. Porter's rugged style, strength and size were too much. But, he put Porter on his a$$ late in the fight. He's too small for 147, given the holes in his defense, lack of movement at times, and his power doesn't carry up as well. But, he's a good matchup for anyone at 140.

 

He had one of the lowest boxing IQs I have ever seen. EVER. That's a big tool to lack. You can make all the excuses you want, but he was beaten by a better fighter.

 

I have 2 points for you.
1. I never wrote you were a hater or a keyboard warrior. I don't even know you. I have no idea why you felt compelled to write that.
2. Hamed was beaten by a better fighter in Barrera. And everyone, except for Hamed's fans, recognizes that.

Broner is a club fighter.
