Broner already fought a tough fight with Ponce de leon, who is known for his power.

 

There's a big secret about Broner, and it's not a glass jaw.

 

Gamboa would be the one to test that. Then again he doesn't have an iron chin himself.

I don't know about him having a glass chin; but there's no question he's been feasting on undersized low-level opponents for awhile. I want to seem him in with a real opponent.

Would love to see him tested against Gamboa, Uchiyama, or DeMarco if he goes up to lightweight. If he takes a fight with somebody like that and wins, I'd respect him a lot more than I do now. He hasn't been fighting stiff competition. It's no surprise he can clown around like he does at times against that caliber of opposition.

 

He's in a weak weight class but that's not really his fault. Why move up when he doesn't have to.

There's a good reason that Broner desires undersized and/or feather-fisted opponents AND the advantage of not even trying to make weight.
