Broner has wasted his opportunities He could have been somebody really special . He has this amazing gift He had fans that love him and invest their hard earned money into following him With this in mind he has no business throwing it away like he has done . I have just watched the fight It was a good fight but the results of Broners life made him opporate at 70% of his potential in here . I wish these fighters would understand that when people pay their hard earned money to see you . You then have to give back .Not throw it all away by pretending to be Rick Ross. I am fed up with fighters saying oh its hard work I ,you dont understand ,Oh you could get injured or even killed very true ! Very true but I am sick of hearing it because Our soldiers have a harder time of it We all have to work hard or the house gets repossessed. If you did a job you would have to work hard People get injured at work as well I had a leg injury that kept me out for 18 months . More HGV drivers get killed in the UK than boxers ! (There you can hit the ban boxing brigade with that !) I am sorry for these comments but I watched the Tony Below interview last night and you would think he was the only person in the UK expected to do any work Rick Ross ......Sorry Adrien Broner really needs a team that wont take any s%%t and base them selves away with him in isolation . My Idea Train with Jimmy Tibbs on the Isle of Sky !
Well, it's gladiating. That's what you sign up for. And it's rewarded Broner very well for a relatively modest degree of accomplishment. I don't agree that he was ever going to be a special fighter (as in P4P, PPV stardom), but I do agree that he could've gotten more out of himself and had a more productive career as a TV fighter than he has had.
When I was bored one day I watched a lot of stuff and his fights on you tube I truly believe he could have been the man but I may have over dosed on watching him !
I guess, still for the most part he’s not one to shy away from contact. I get that most folks on this website don’t know how to compartmentalize certain thoughts and feelings when evaluating particular fighters. Broner is one of those guys that inspires those aggressive thoughts, I get it. Despite your disdain for the guy he dosent go down easy.
What he does is unacceptable and taboo on a universal level. I’m not attempting to provide him a pass or even a grace period for being young and dumb. He’s matured slightly in my opinion though it’s difficult to take real notice since his wrongs have truly outweighed his rights.
Like I get his shtick, nobody could ever love him so he has to play the villain. He basically went the Mayweather route but lacks the substance Floyd had in the ring. But he just sounds like a bafoon. At least Floyd made some sense and was usually complementary of his opponent after the fight. Win, lose, or draw Broner acts like a complete and utter fool every single time. Besides of course when he was basically carried out of the ring after Maidana gave him the bizness.
has there ever been a more offensive (in interviews not in the ring) boxer ? http://www.news.com.au/sport/boxing...t/news-story/f73e87197306a3c3a0b11071faad159d
Always the same tactics with Broner: tries in the first part to draw his opponent into spending himself by feigning to have no chin , then goes after him in the second part. Always that con game. If it works then he's an ace, if not he of course shouts robbery.
