just like he stopped Paulie :thumbsup

when Broner isn't a head taller than his opponent he doesn't look too comfortable in the ring

It's going on PPV because Showtimes boxing budget will be exhausted. They won't over pay the fighters and if they can muster up a half decent number of buys it will be a success. This is also to test where Broner is at. He has had the highest rating a viewers on HBO and Showtime outside of PPV's.

LoL, because Demarco didn't have a 3 inch height advantage.

Broner and Maidana are virtually the same size. With Broner having a slight reach advanatge.

Team Gonzalez approached to rematch Mares on this card. Still don't think that it's $60 PPV worthy, but that makes it two very intriguing and likely exciting bouts. Hopefully they add another of that quality.

that was not a ppv and it did less than cotto-trout which also wasn't a ppv.

They can put anybody on the card, still doesnt take away that the general public will be tapped out to be paying for ppvs, floyd-canelo. Bradley-marquez. pac-rios. now broner maidana. its overkill.

This will be a tough PPV sell for a lot of reasons:

Holiday season. Lots of distractions. Lots of expenses
Three PPVs in three months prior (May/Canelo, JMM/Bradley, Pac/Rios)
Lots of competition from other sports. NFL, NCAA football, NBA all going.

Hopefully they make it a lower cost fight. Wish they would just put it on Showtime.

that is what was being discussed for the co main event with an opening fight between Victor Ortiz and Alfonso Gomez which is a ****ing **** fight. Ortiz vs Guerrero or Paulie or Josesito 2 would make the card PPV worthy imo but Gomez is a joke of a fight

Maidana would destroy Broner in a real street fight with no one holding them back, I'm faily certain of that.
