:roll: I wouldn't take what he's sayin seriously. Floyd had Castillo and Manny had Marquez even they got respect for the Mexicans Broner still gots abit to learn. Ponce DeLeon was only alittle sample of humble pie for Broner I thought he'd mature abit more as a fighter. I think he just got caught up in the heat of the moment maybe he's excited for this fight with Perez I don't know. He best leave the trashtalking to the pros or watch vids of Toney, Mayorga, or Ali cuz Broners not good at it. Hope he lets his fists do the talking he's good, but DeLeon was one bean burrito eater many thought beat him. I don't think race baiting is really ever any good. It came back and bit even a legend like Hopkins in the ass and made him look like one too.

Good post and I agree, Broner is good,but not as good as he thinks he is. He hasnt met a real Mexican warrior but when he does, he will understand the benifits of a good bean burrito and that probably will be his next meal.

He's a good fighter but if he wants to become a star he needs to talk **** but within its limits where your not alienating a fan base as big as the Mexican one and other Latin fan bases.

 

I still can't believe how little "pub" this fight is getting. I have created several threads and post about how under-appreciated this fight is. And it's a damn shame it has to be an undercard fight. Perez is no pushover and will bring the fight to Broner....CAN'T WAIT!!!

That's a very good point, but we are talking about a 22 yr old kid from the projects. Having a complete understanding of selling / promoting fights and respecting fanbase....that is not his area of expertise. He is just a loud mouth, arrogant, rash-talking fool....with talent.
