From Broner, "Everyone wants to know about how that hurts my legacy," he said of the loss to Maidana in one of 2013's best fights. "But you know what? I did a whole career of [expletive] before I ever took that fight. You know? If I'd have retired at 23, I'd already done enough to be in the Hall of Fame. I'm not settling for what I've done already, but this is all extra. I've done enough to be a Hall of Famer based on what I've done now."

So, do you think he has achieved or will achieve enough to be a future Hall Of Famer? What else does he have to do?

They won't be able to fit a picture of retired Broner's fatass on any HOF wall....

On paper his resume is amazing. 3 weight world champ at the age of 23 :scaredas:

But, he never was ranked as the nr 1 guy at any weight he fought at.
Never beat a top 10 Super Featherweight
He did beat Reese and DeMarco at Lightweight. Many ranked DeMarco as the possible best in the division. Broner then left behind Abril, Burns and Vazquez.
And at WW he holds only one win and thats debatable.

    Broner is a joke.

I don't think he'll make it. He's been very lackluster the last year. One embarrassing loss, and one very underwhelming performance. He's too big to go back down to the lower weight classes, and I just don't see him beating the top guys at 140 or 147. I think the can man has peaked already.

He is not even close. And he is not even half as good as he thinks he is. But he can makes it if he stops being a clown and apply himself

    Remains to be seen.

Fans tend to completely write off fighters when they lose, this has been the case since forever. Back in 2005 people were saying that Pacquiao needs to retire and even if he doesn't he won't make it far enough to be considered HOF material let alone ATG. Same thing was said about Cotto, Khan, Mosley, W.Klitschko, V.Klitschko, Lennox Lewis, Hopkins, Tarver, Froch, Sergio Martinez, Holyfield, Morales, Barrera, Marquez...etc

Even historic fighters(if you look closely at the documentaries involving them) like Leonard, Hearns, Ali, Norton, Frazier, Foreman, Duran, Holmes...etc had their share of "He lost, he has no future" nonsense.

:lol: Yep. The first fighter he faced who was his own size other than Paulie, had him on the canvas twice as many times as he had DeMarcus Corley, Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, Andriy Koletniyk, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Erik Morales combined.

Look at some of the names in that too Khan :)lol:), shot Morales :)lol:) and DeMarcus Corley who Matthysse put on the deck 9 times. :rofl

Broner has way too many flaws. He'll never be close to hall of fame worthy. After taylor this weekend they'll just set him up with another beatable opponent and so on. He's just too immature and it shows in his performances in the ring; bad footwork, low punch output, inferior ring iq. The guy is simply a joke both inside and outside the ring.

Not to defend Broner but Maidana was a massive step up 2 weight division higher than should have been, he still has some potential to be something at LWW, but no he won't be a Hall of Famer.

Outside the Ring he is a clown but the meatball can make a hof worthy career if he makes some changes.

Seems like a lot of "fans" think boxing is the easIest sport out there.
Saying a 3 div champ in Less than a Decade is nothing but a bum is pretty freaking harsh. It'd, He is always cringe worthy but seems some of you think he is so God gifted he did what he did already without even trying.
    ?
Wow, just imagine if he trained with a real team and actually put forth some effort. He might b end up av FlOyd versIon 2.0.
Guys, this is by far the most pHySically andm mentally demanding things I'm life not jUst sport. .. so he became 3 weight champ without even trying ? very iMpreSsive little Broner

No he's not done enough and to be honest I cannot see him going another 12 months without a loss.

Don't know which hall of fame you're talking about? Because he is NEVER getting into the boxing hall of fame.
