Well, should be easy to prove?

Who promotes Salido? Is he under contract to Arum, or does he just fight on some of Arum's cards?

If Salido is not under contract to Arum, would be a big fight and easy to make? But I suspect, the way both Salido(or his camp) and Bronner are talking smack, they know the fight is not likely to be made.

We always back it up. Look at the 100+ years we've been dominating this game.

Its simply because Majority of the boxing fans expected Pac to KO JMM.. That's why it doesn't look very much convincing.. Especially when the one you expected be knocked out cold came in there with a very good fight plan.. :hey

I would also like to credit half of JMM's good performance on SSM..
He's the one who really exposed Pac's weakness, and JMM did capitalized..

There's a lot of difference between how JMM fought Pac in the first and second meeting than in the third.. "If" only Pac has fought JMM before he fought SSM, Pac should have won clearly..

But again, its just a close fight but not a robbery.. Pacquioa won, and we can't change it.. :smoke

Cotto put a brutal beating on Pac.. Clottey also put some markings.. JMM only manages to put a cut by a headbutt.. We can say that its because JMM has been attacking the body.. Margarito did attack the body and as far as the actual fight showed, it looked like it doesn't have that much power.. But Pac was really hurt..

All of that only shows the effectiveness of the punches.. Maybe JMM was only hitting the arms and the elbows of Pac.. :conf
Of course that's not the way you score it in the actual fight.. But if you are looking at it on the ringside, you can tell the difference..

And if you only manages to hit the elbows and the arms, you'll have to credit the opponent for his defense.. Credit to JMM for nullifying Pac's left hand lead most of the time..

Pac's highlights was his right counter punch, and that was all night long.. Only shows that he controls the way the fight goes(except the middle rounds)..

To sum it all up.. Most of the time, Pac was the aggressor.. And he was effective..

Now if you know how to score a fight, its clear that Pac was winning it..
    But it was close.. :smoke

If Broner is the "Truth" and the "Future", he should be calling out Gamboa and trying to get a fight with the Cuban. Instead of challenging a fighter at the end of his career who has a style that Broner can work with.

Broner is younger, fresher, naturally bigger, and faster than the Siri who has been fighting as a pro since the age of 15, which explaines the many losses early in his career. Salido is 31, but has fought as a pro for 16 years, that's more than half of his life. Gamboa is about 30 himself but has only fought as a pro for 5 years.

Broner should be calling out Gamboa who clearly beat Salido if he really feel he's so skilled and slick.

I think it was Salido that started the "calling out" smack talk in this one. Broner was only responding.

“Now I see that there is nobody at 126 that is an attractive opponent for myself, so I am thinking maybe I should move up to join the 130-pounders,” stated Salido, who hails from Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. “I would love to fight [Adrien] Broner at 130, but with one condition. After the fight, after I knock out Broner, I want his father to brush my own hair.”

“He’s always cocky because he never really fought anybody,” Salido said. “He fought finished fighters or nobodies and he’s so arrogant that I want to shut his mouth. The only thing I’m thinking of now is Broner. He has a big mouth and he likes to dance but I want to break his jaw. I will do exactly the same thing to him that I did to Lopez.”

“It’s simple. Nobody puts pressure on him and nobody confronts him and fights him,” Salido stated. “I plan to do that. I have the qualifications and I am strong enough to stand up and fight toe to toe. I’m looking forward to that fight.”

At first I thought it was a strange matchup but now that I know Salido doesn't care about rankings and belts and simply wants to get his hands on him, then I say good luck Siri.
