Maidana wasn't allowed to fight in the gloves that he's accustomed to. It's like making Floyd wear Reebok or Everlast. Maidana still beat that ass.

Canelo was drained and wasn't fully developed. Most had him drawing with Trout and many had him losing.

Judah had just been washed by Carlos freaking Baldomir.

Of course you're not gonna bother with the illegal IVs. Just like you're not gonna bother with the fact that Floyd rejected VADA and the $5 million per dirty test penalty.

All your post proved was that you're willing to hand out free passes for Floyd.

You can’t blame Floyd for AB’s problems, inside or outside the ring. AB is a grown man and his wins and losses are a reflection of his own ability and dedication (or lack of discipline). Prime AB was a good fighter but he was never at Floyd’s level even though many people wanted him to be. AB disappointed me because I thought he’d be a better pro than he wound up being. At this stage, it will be a major victory if he can stay out of jail and not die broke. I wish him luck.

Thread is not going as expected? The truth from fair-minded posters normally trumps a post full of deep fried doo-doo.

Was maidana a safe opponent, yes or no?

Was p4p #3 shane Mosley coming off 2 brutal KO wins a safe opponent yes or no?

Do dozens of highly respected fighters, trainers, and boxing writers acknowledge Mayweather's skill, yes or no? And if yes (obvious answer) what does that say about people like you still living in the past and butthurt about the shoulder injury of the century?

Canelo didn't have to agree to the catchweight and didn't complain. He had every single physical advantage including youth, size and strength. Or do you think those are disadvantages?

Im not gonna bother because you have no evidence. He was cleared. You can only "give a pass" to someone when they're found guilty. I don't think its a coincidence the only people who still bring up Floyd's so called drug issues in 2020 also happen to be pacquiao fans. :eusa_whistle: The minute you start talking out of your ass about conspiracies and bribes I can do the same thing.

When talking about skill , Broner and Floyd should never be mention in the same sentence about the "same style". Now if you want to talk about attempted copying. Yes, Broner is a perfect example of a floyd wannabe.

Floyd is a way highly skilled fighter but compared to broner but he looked average in pacquiao fight. He employed a fighting scared strategy. He was running scared and made over 20 hugs for 12 rounds. He failed to show his amazing boxing class unlike with his other fights like mosley, alvarez to name a few.

He won so clearly pac had to cry injury post fight to save face. Btw why are you calling clinching hugs? Do you not know basic boxing vocabulary? Do you call jabs stiffies too?

You seriously going to compares the Floyd performance to Broner. Giving zero credit to Pac, because how Floyd fought had a lot to do with the danger that Pac brings. He won a decision against Pac that was beating guys left and right and you still called it lackluster ? He made Pac ineffective that night. That in itself shows skill. Also Pac skill wise is greater than Mosley and Alvarez ( current since career isn’t over yet).

Broner absolutely did not initiate the Mayweather strategy. Yes he does the shoulder roll, but he doesn't do even 25% of what Floyd does. Floyds vision in seeing the punches coming was second to none and he certainly didn't just stand there and let fighters get combinations off. Broner sits there flat footed during exchanges and seems to get overwhelmed. Against top fighters Broner very seldomly ever controlled the pace or dictated distance. Floyd absolutely DOMINATED at that.

You watch Floyd vs Broner in situations where a fighter is throwing say 5 or 6 shots. When Floyd is rolling those punches it looks very purposeful and exact, where when Broner does it, it looks more like a rehearsed motion and he gets hit with a lot more clean shots because of it. Maybe I am not explaining myself well here.

Remember Pac has surgery after the fight to repair that torn rotator cuff. Did he have that to be able to cry over injury. Floyd claimed same thing after Castillo 1 But he never had surgery did he? Obviously Ellebee's caresses cured him LOL
One more thing maybe you can explain why Floyd need 750 ml of saline drip on the couch in his own home 24 hours before that fight. Maybe you can but even NSAC couldnt they just refused to investigate. But gave him a TUE three weeks later

The main thing Broner lacked in his career compared to Floyd was Floyd had the undivided backing of the NSAC & Vegas boxing
