I want to hate on this kid, but I can't. This kid is good for boxing.

Agreed. As long as he doesn't start avoiding fightd once he blows up. I like him though.

  3. Broner is annoying as ****. Talks too much **** for having a pathetic resume.

He's trying too much, its quite unoriginal and tedious.

Floyd might have played a character that we all know about, but at least he was original, this kid is just too over the top and annoying as hell.

He hardly covered himself in glory during the whole Escobedo debacle. He's also trying way too hard to mimic Mayweather. He has talent, no doubt, but I'm non plussed by him to an extent. He can probably feature in some interesting match ups - lets hope he actually takes them. I personally think Burns gives him all he can handle.

He's a hypejob who will be exposed when he steps up in class. He couldn't deal with Ponce because, despite the tassles on his shorts and brash attitude, he's not Floyd Mayweather. He's not even Roger Mayweather. **** it, he has the boxing ability of Jeff Mayweather and an ego to match the entire family combined.

If we've seen the beginning, I'm looking forward to the middle when he is exposed as being an average boxer. I can't wait for the end, when a real fighter like Gamboa sends his broken jaw flying into the nosebleed seats.

Cant wait for the Demarco fight, we'll see what Broner is made of, I don't think Demarco is a walk in the park.

If dude Pressures his opponent like his previous fight with Body shots, and slick moves pushing forward I'll be a big fan. His performances have made up for the embarrassment losing to PDL was, and if He gets by Demarco impressively big fan ill be...

The PDL fight was very good for Broner. He has learned alot since then and is much improved.

Big fan of Broner. Wish him the best

you mean like what he's doing in november vs the arguably the #1 LW in Demarco? Care to make a lifetime ban bet on that fight?

There is no #1 IMO at LW... but he is at the Top along with Miguel Vazquez. He definitely stepping up in COMP, can't wait :bbb

thats why I said arguably, I've heard numerous people claim this. personally i rate Vazquez as #1 but at worst Demarco is 2nd best in a new division for Broner.

Not particularly because DeMarco isn't that good himself. If Broner was fighting someone like Rios or Gamboa, I'd happily take the bet but as much as I like DeMarco, he's not that good. I'd pick Abril and Vazquez to beat DeMarco too.

DeMarco is a perfect styles match for Broner.

So you expect the soon to be exposed hype job to steamroll DeMarco?

He's cool just not when he gets over rated. We see it time and time again with other fighters (Lacy, Khan, Berto, Bute etc) and then when they step it up we see they are just regulars. He's good talent, just dont over rate him just yet.

He'll comfortably outbox DeMarco by staying away from him. Like I said, I like DeMarco but he is not a great fighter. He was abused by Valero and schooled by Linares until the broken nose. He is a solid top 10 fighter but there are plenty of guys who would beat him. Broner is one of them.

Of course, I expect Broner fans to massively overrated DeMarco when he's beaten him. However, Broner won't always be up against perfect stylistic matches and when he's up against it, he'll come unstuck. Gamboa would knock him out 5/5.
