Adrien Broner On Mikey Garcia: He's Fighting The Can Man, NOT The Problem Or About Billions!

Broner is going to come to the conclusion real fast that he wasted alot of his career. I heard him the other day talking about how he wished he trained harder previously. Which is a mistake I knew he would regret at some point in his life soon. I could see the same late in Zabs career when he was fighting Vernon Paris. You could see Zab had matured and realized the clock was ticking on his career and money earning potential. You could see Zab was wishing he could do it over. Broner might have already come to this realization. Unfortunately I dont even know if the best camp of his career will help him beat Mikey.

This is a great fight! I think broners size and skill level is really going to cause some problems for Mikey, (especially early)who can be a bit stationary at times. It's going to take Mikey a few rounds to get adjusted, but the big question is going to be if Mikey's power will carry up to 140 pounds. Well see.

He calls himself the CAN man because he says everybody CAN get it, MexiCANS, Puerto. RiCANS, AmeriCANS, DominiCANS, get it, nothing rascist about it at all.

 

I agree it's not offensive. But it's stupid, at least 'the Problem' means something. It sounds more threatening to be a problem for your opponent, than to say your opponent can get it. So it's just ridiculous to say the can man is the best version of himself.

I don't doubt Mikey's power, what I wonder is how he takes Broner's best. Broner is by far the hardest puncher Mikey's faced. And he might get caught with something, as Broner matches Mikey's speed, and throws with variety and sometimes from unpredictable angles. Do we forget Mikey was knocked down by Roman Martinez?
