What I will say is this, Ricky Burns was CLEARLY ABSOLUTELY OFFERED 150% STRAIGHT UP, to fight Broner this next fight.

Billy Nelson the trainer, said he is confident he will beat Broner anytime anyplace anywhere, but maintains Broner is a ***** for not wanting to come here. Holding that predictable card against him. (Even when Ricky Burns has been a domesticated fighter himself....)

Vazquez fight is announced over here. (credible enough, a fight Ricky SHOULD be involved in now!!!)

Then, straight from the horses mouth, Ricky Burns said himself he shunned the Broner fight and that "everybody knows why"....then Mr Nelson comes on here and is right behind the decision.

Ricky claimed "5 weeks was not enough".....Gavin Rees took the fight and has been at it hard for 5 weeks in New York. Away from his family for the biggest fight of his life. 5 weeks is enough.

Now there is talk about Harrison vs. Burns in the summer following Vazquez. atsch

Adrien Broner says categorically and emphatically he wants the Ricky Burns fight. For about the 500th time, so we know Broner wants this fight today.

In an interview with ifilmlondon yesterday, Kugan Cassius asks Adrien Broner if he would fight in the UK. His response was "absolutely....if they pay me well", but he thinks "They have bitten of more than they can chew with Vazquez, but we'll see...."

So there you have it, I have tried to defend Ricky and team from people claiming they are ducking. But I can't defend them anymore unfortunately, the reality is, it appears, Ricky Burns and team dont want this fight. I still think Ricky Burns is raring to go for it, but his team dont want none of it.
