Seriously people really need to stop feeding Craney the pathetic little creepy troll.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that Craney was begging Billy Nelson for a job in another thread, it was one of the lamest things I have ever read.

"Please Billy, I would DO ANYTHING to be a part of the team, I'd give up everything and move to Scotland" and "I would do that though Billy, I would be a good worker, I'm a team player" etc.

Then a week later he gets exposed as a sordid internet sex trawler and suddenly he's going on about "my boy" Broner and how Burns is running scared, it's really really sad Craney and no one is impressed by you, one of the few times that the internet actually mimics real life in that regard.

5 weeks isn't enough fora British title let alone a world title, not if you seriously think you can win that is

Objectivity can work both ways.. If Broner 'avoided' Ricky and fought the next 'best' option no one would mind, yet Ricky is getting stick for doing exactly that by fighting Vazquez, Also If Ricky was about to fight Rees he'd get loads of **** for it.

Burns vs Vazquez -----> Broner vs Rees

It seems to me like Broner is taking Burns opponents away from him, if Burns had beaten Vazquez then Rees would be a natural opponent for him and a big domestic fight but if he has just taken a hiding off Broner it's going to be hard to justify that fight.

It was interesting to hear that Broner would come to England "if the money was right" I'm not sure what to make of that, one thing I am sure of though is that knowing Burns promoter the money definitely won't be right.

Agreed. But when Alex Morrison is already lining up a Scott Harrison fight before Ricky has even beat Vazquez it really does question how much they really want to face Broner.

Fair enough, its nice to see how seriously you take it. :good

The more time a fighter has, is more time a fighter can mentally prepare and focus, that is at least half the battle.

So how long has Ricky been in camp for the Vazquez fight? How many weeks in total?

Would be shocking if Ricky fought Harrison at all, but if Ricky beats Vazquez(we can take great heart in the fact that fight is taking place for a start, rather than another liam walsh) he will be number one in the division, holding the WBO and IBF, if it suddenly then comes out that the number one in the division will be fighting Scott ****ing Harrison of all people, Ricky and Billy will know that they open themselves to SERIOUS and I mean SERIOUS ridicule.

We have to remember, Ricky has made no secret that his ultimate dream is to win that Ring belt, a great first step is beating Vazquez to become number one/two in their rankings (Ring still have De Marco for some weird reason ranked ahead of Burns), but then there is one man left to fight to fulfill that dream, and it isn't Scott Harrison.

Hopefully if Alex Morrison was to still be pushing for a Harrison fight, Ricky would finally just say NO and downright refuse.

There have to be serious big bucks for Broner, his team, or Goldenboy to ever contemplate that

but you have to say, if Broner went to England or Scotland and beat Burns, the man would deserve serious respect

Just ignore the moron mate. Its already been stated to him that its about personal preference and just because Rees FEELS ready it doesn't mean that Ricky would.

He seems to think that everyones body and mind react the same and just because one fighter believes they're ready in 5 weeks that every fighter should be.

Rees is a non world title holder and also clearly is taking the fight for the money, his first question was "How much" and when told it was £150k just said yes immediately. If it had been 3 weeks and he was offered another £20k he probably would have taken it, if he loses to Broner but puts on a spirited showing he's still grown his stock. You can't compare the two situations at all, desperate as Craney may try.

Why should he take it with 5 weeks notice though? No disrespect to Rees but he isnt a current world champ like ricky burns is and couldnt demand the same types of matches ricky could. Good on them why the **** should they give theselves half the chance when he is a recognized champ.

Well done to Burns or more accurately ******. He is in the perfect fight to duck his toughest opponent but then not quite duck him because its a unification. Good business.
