I don't see Broner as a hype job brother. The kid has skills and yes he is a turd outside the ring:good

I can't wait to see what Pibb and Blizzy, who are the same I think, :thinkhave to rant on when they see this post:shock:

Similar style to Floyd - Must be as good....

He's a good fighter, but not elite. At 140 id strongly favour Khan over him. Alvarado, Rios, Provodnikov, Mathysee are all 50-50, we've yet to see him handle that sort of pressure and power. The top 5 at 147 destroys him.

 mr pibb, blizzyblizz, derrick, nay_sayer, king lion and blackbolt are pretty much the same poster/troll who likes to give Broner a 24/7 blow'job . :yep

Broner don't want no part from guys like Alexander, Khan, Garcia, Provodnikov, Guerrero, Thurman or Matthysse. :yep:deal:good

Broner struggled to win by SD the fight with pillowfisted Paulie.

I don't think it's anything to do with being black (there are other black boxers who could be hyped), it's because he copies Floyd Mayweather so some people think "hey, it's the new Floyd", whereas in reality there's only one Floyd Mayweather, and Broner is unlikely to ever be in his class.

Y'all got to calm down with the racist comments and just look at AB for what he does in the ring that's the only place where we have a right to judge him. AB has potential to do great things in the sport of boxing. His speed and accuracy and timing is there and that's a solid foundation. His short to long range punches are nice how he puts them together. His footwork is improving. When other boxers cut off the ring and stalk an opponent down you call them a beast. When broner does it he flat footed. He just jumped two weight classes even though his first fight was against soft fisted Paulie give him a break Broner body hasn't even adjusted to the weight. Broner doesn't have the whole package yet but he on the right track....if he can stay focused.

I hate broner with a passion, but he was like 19 when he fought PDL. He has extremely fast hands and decent defense. A bit flat footed though.

Maidana can be out boxed but he will land something big on broner, we'll see how he reacts.

    Good post. Agree on everything.

    ---

Where I stand with Broner is that while he is very overrated, he also is quite accomplished.

The same can be said about loads of fighters who are spoken of as greats or future greats without a shred of the accomplishments to merit such a lofty view.

    Broner's resume > Golovkin's resume

Just think Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. He got/gets more talk and hype than both of the above I named and is way inferior to both of them.

People love to watch them fight. That's why they get talked about.

When a fighter is popular and a success fighting less-than-risky opponents, than of course promoters will milk that and not be out to prove them as an ATG immediately when in this era, fans and media alike turn on a fighter often times after a single defeat.
