Who rated demarco #1? Ratings mean nothing to me, demarco lost his prime when he fought valero. Macklin won rounds against martinez.

So ratings mean nothing well what about a fighter moving up in weight ? And fighting Maidana in his second fight at a new weight that's nothing ?

The reason why Broner does so well and is getting so much hype is because casuals see him and are like "OMG, OMG, THIS GUY IZ LIKE MAYWEATHER, LOOK BOTH R BLACK, BOTH HAVE "MAD TUDE" + USE THE SHOULDER ROLL DEFENSE, THEREFORE SAME XACT FITERS"

But the truth is Broner is a cut under Floyd Mayweather. While he may be fast I don't think he is mentally strong or as skilled as Mayweather. Talent like mayweather doesn't come around too often.

I wouldn't say the most overrated ever fact is Demarco was #1 LW(credit to him) and the Vasquez fight never occured, he jumped two weight classes and a soft touch for any top Welter in Malinagi(WBA Champ) and won unimpressivly, Midana is a hard hitter I think his next fight will tell a lot the Alexander-Porter(IBF Champ) winner which is a unification fight or the Thurman-Karass winner,

But just based off him moving through 3 weights fighting Titlist I would rated him ahead of hypejobs like Berto, Ortiz, Margarito, Rios, and until proven otherwise Thurman & GGG.


he's still untested yet a lot of these unproven guys have gotten there chance to show there quality.
Garcia's KO of Kahn & almost shutting out Matthysse imo he's forreal, Alvarez had mixed results I had Trout a Draw or SD either way & thought the MD was ok for the Mayweather fight I think he's shown he can hang(at least at JMW), guys like Lara & Alexander are on another level yet still seeking that defining win

If you are a true boxing fan, you won't post your boxing opinion in this thread. I wouldn't say this about Matthysse, GG, Broner or any boxer within the last few years.
