"I'm still one of the best fighters of this era. When I'm done with my career, I will be one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves. I just can't wait to give everyone something to remember on Saturday."

There's that weird thing though that there are boxfans who actually still fall for it.

The times I've read "4 weight champ" here... :hang

Looking like a bootleg Zab Judah

I like this fight to compare it with Bradley-Vargas. Should be interesting

Demarco sliced up Linares and is a tough SOG to be fair

A limited but tough fighter for sure and the way Broner won was certainly impressive. For a guy with 4 weight titles his win list is pretty thin.

Can we please get a Broner vs Burns match to determine who the worst 3 or more weight titleist is?

Broner is comical. No one should take anything he says seriously.

Won his first world title when he was matched up in a vacant title fight against an out of work dog trainer nobody from Argentina who a few fights later got knocked out in 3 rounds by a 22-19-2 scrub.

Won his second one against at his second weight (he had to move up because he lost his SF world title on the scales in his previous fight after failing to make weight) against Demarco. Good win.

Won his third title at his third weight (147) against career 140 pounder and notorious featherfist Paulie who in turn had one it off a paper champ and should've really lost it in his first defence after he was the beneficiary of a gift decision against Pablo Cesar Cano.

Won his fourth world title at his fourth weight in a vacant title fight against Khabib Allakhverdiev who was coming off a loss and an 18 month layoff. Broner was also coming off a loss too lol.

Then we have the numerous controversial decisions that went his way too: Fernando Quintero, Daniel Ponce Don, Granados, and even Paulie who some felt he was fortunate to get the win against. Has a close, controversial decision ever not gone his way?

Broner was a weight bully (he missed weight numerous times throughout his career IIRC) who boiled himself down to beat up on naturally smaller fighters and then got exposed when he moved up to compete against fighters his own size or who were closer to his own size.

And he got his ass kicked by Maidana who outweighed him by 5lbs, which IIRC is the exact same amount of weight he had over his best win DeMarco.

Lost to Shawn Porter who is a big 147 pounder but came down to 144 for that fight (ie. Broner Weight).

And then Mikey paddled his ass. Despite Mikey spending the majority of the fight on the front foot trying to track a Broner who was clearly intimidated by his power down, Broner had the audacity to claim that Mikey ''ran'' lol
