Is Adrien Broner the biggest hypejob of this era?

I think that he is. Not only has he showed that he lacks talent to be a p4p king, he is also too ****y and thinks he can beat anyone while he only beat an inactive Carlos Molina who was much smaller than he is.

He must be very glad that he has Al Haymon on his team and that he is African-American(no racist, but we have to admit that a lot of his popularity is due to the fact that he is black)

He even calls out Pacquiao(although he is doing that to increase his popularity he will never fight pacquiao), imagine Pacquiao vs Broner. Speed and footwork vs no head movement and slow footwork.

    Lol

Indeed, Berto 2.0 I think that Al Haymon is going to use him to test other fighters a la Berto.

Believe it or not, Adrian Broner has very good boxing ability, even beyond those of the average contender.
Physically, he could be a beast, but where he is lacking is in the mind.
Broner has the body of a 20+ year older, but the mind of a 14 year old.
His mind is very weak, therefore his body lacks the performance of which it is capable.

Easily the biggest hype-job of this era. Easily.

The moment he fought a real fighter he got handled, hard!

Just another idiot who the sheep will latch onto.

  7. His talent isn't as good as people think.

His speed has not carried well into welterweight, and his power is a product of knocking out guys from 130 and 135, where he had a huge size advantage.

He looked horrible last night. Barely scraped by Molina and was consistently landed on flush throughout the fight. The 100-90 card was as bad as Canelo draw vs Floyd.
The guy is simply not that good to begin with. Last time he looked good was against DeMarco, and that is many, many gallons of liquor ago. I fear for his life and health if he actually is going to face Pacquiao.:think

Not true. The guy has no great physical ability, that is just something they make you believe with marketing. Yes he is fast in his padwork-movies, but that proves nothing cause a lot of the lower fighters can do that.

Watch his fights, he lacks movement, whether it is in his legs or head. A lot of his fights have been tune-ups and he can't get through C-level fighters.

Another thing, i think his speed is overrated. He isn't so fast at all, maybe he looks fast against super slow fighters, but then again, even normal fighters look fast against slow fighters.

He is a great marketing attraction but not someone who can be a king at any weightclass. Lower or higher weightclass, he will get schooled.

The moment he stepped in with the guy who just gave the no 1 p4p his biggest chalenge in years, Broner was exposed!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Broner being brutallized by Maidana. Just saying though.

This is true. Maidana was Broner's test for being p4p material or not. He failed the test to get exposed, period.

Broner is one of the many hype-jobs that America has produced. Fact.

Terrence Crawford and Gary Russel JR are overlooked talents that America should be backing instead of that loudmouth Broner.

Three time champion without the skills of a 3 time champion.

DeMarco IS STILL his best victory to date...

tough fight with Paulie. Loss to PDL & Quintero...and a much closer fight that given against Molina. Oh and don't forget the Maidana beatdown.

What a complete jackoff this guy is. Seriously, would he even be considered Top 25 PFP?

He could have chosen to fight John Molina, who actually had a puncher's chance. Instead he choose a guy who was shutout and stopped by Amir Khan.

This fight was rigged from the start. Broner did win the fight, but in hindsight Molina had no chance to win a decision. If you can't score Rds 2 and 3 for Molina, which were CLEAR as he landed 4-5 times the number of power shots as Broner, then there was no way he was ever taking a decision from the house fighter.

As an addendum, with the past week and the universal condemnation of Donald Sterling's bigoted remarks, why not the same criticism of Broner's ethnic baiting during the post-fight interview. Broner loves to talk smack after he wins, but couldn't be bothered to give a perfunctory chat with Jim Gray after his beatdown at the hands of Chino Maidana.
