The problem is what can Frank offer him, Burns Broner would sell around 10k, assume the average price is about 60 quid, that is only 600000, I don't know how many people subscribe to BoxNation and how much profit each subscription gives but it'll be seven figures to bring Broner over (he would want a career high) and to offer that it'll have to be PPV which I'm not sure would happen.

frank would make an offer of over a mill i recon. he's not stupid.

and i see the arena being much bigger than one holding only 10K. he'd probably have a good under card and make it an out door fight.

I know if he is going to be making a good offer it would be over a mil, Burns Broner isn't a big enough fight for a large arena, casual UK fans don't really know much about Burns and barely any of them have heard of Broner, even in Glasgow I doubt a 15k arena would sell out tbh.

:huh you do know that burns vs vazquez is being held at wembley arena?

as i say, frank has this covered. he's going to make an offer to broner that he can't refuse. if he does, then HE'S the one who looks like a coward. then he'll let burns travel to the states with a bigger reputation and expand his following.

    trust me.

I don't see GB/HBO paying Burns what he was previously asking. Not close.

And I don't see Burns accepting appreciably less than what he was asking.

Probably because your d riding a Jr WW who comes in the ring 160 over a LW that would be moving up in weight? ;)

I don't think he will get offered the amount they want but if Burns beats Vasquez unifying the WBO and IBF, he will get offered a better deal than what he would have got previously, and a full training camp.

If the fight with Burns doesn't happen then I'd like to see him in a unification bout against the winner of Abril/Bogere before he moves up in weight.

Probably doesn't feel comfortable sweating down, which is funny because he said he'd stay at 135 for a while during the conference call for the Rees fight.

Assuming Burns beats Vasquez, let's see if Broner has the balls to offer him a fight at a time that gives him four month's notice.Nice time for promotion and preparation.
Maybe the tactics are to keep offering the fight with unreasonable conditions(e.g prep time) because deep down,he fears Ricky will scalp him and brush his hair/scalp whilst doing the post fight victory interview with Max.

And for the record, assuming Ricky doesn't ruin him like Froch did to Bute,I think Broner will be magnificent at 140.

He's doing what he does talking, think he's bluffing unless frank really offers him an eye popping number can't refuse.Wants gamboa to inflate himself another division & Marquez drain down to lightweight(like he calls the shots) as soon as they consider it/accept he then accuses them of peds lol.Not buying the clowns hype but see him getting through this midget until he starts fighting real comp/threats at 140lb.Garcia,rios,Matthysse welcome him & his big mouth, it's put up or shut up time.

  15. there might be a chance that broner will be facing gamboa in may.....if gamboa gets out of the drug scandal
