Adrien Broner vs Jessie Vargas set for april 21st in the Barclays Center

I'd easily favor Vargas over Broner if he were more active. Broner has greater natural talent, but ever since the Maidana fight has no motivation or killer instinct left. The fact that he dropped a decision to Porter and even Garcia says it all.

Agreed, and if I get my prediction of Taylor wrong at world level so be it but I genuinely believe him when he asks for Broner/Garcia. He believes truly he will win. Great step up, but I doubt it’ll happen. Nice to see up and comers want to do things old fashioned way, make big fights.

Looks like Taylor might get a shot against the Imam-Ramirez winner, so he'll have a chance at a belt soon.

I feel like Taylor and Prograis are the best junior welters behind Garcia. Both would beat Broner.

 

yea 140 could be underated soon.. Crawford moving up was a great thing.. now your got prospects like taylor and prograis... and maybe Garcia.. not so weak of a division afterall.

 

For the sake of testing Taylor, hopefully Ramirez beats Imam.
