At 40 I dont see JMM doing anything but getting TKOd,no hate Broner wants to be as great if not greater than Money. Like I said on another thread if its in him to do the things to be great we are in for a treat.

you people take boxers calling out other boxers way too seriously.

broner only called out jmm b/c he knows that the fight probably wont happen.

in any case broner knocks him out at this point in jmms career.

But you can bet, at the time of the "call out", Broner was dead serious.

    Since Pac-Jmm4, he(Broner) might have second thoughts.:yep

Broner's best win is Antonio DeMarco. What about that suggests Marquez can't time Broner when he's timed Joel Casamayor, Manny Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Orlando Salido? He even timed Mayweather at times with feints at mid-range.

Pacman isn't a brawler, he's a quick-footed boxer-puncher who isn't easily timed by anyone. Broner is a very solid fighter but he's flat footed. He's not going to circle and jab Marquez to the body like Floyd did. The gap in physical dimensions isn't nearly as wide. And he ain't Floyd.

Your analysis is lazy and uses too many generalizations.

when prime guys call out other prime guys its all too serious.

when faded, shop-worn guys(holyfield/klitchos,toney/klitchos) that have no chance call out guys its not.

obviously, broner fits into the former category as opposed to the later.

just like trout in the case of canelo.

Contrary to popular idiotic belief him and Floyd fight differently. Floyd is a master at his craft while Broner tries to match his style but gets hit too much. Broner somehow impersonates Floyd better than Floyd himself but that's the only thing he does better. If Marquez can find Floyd as rare as that was he would find Broner but lets not get too carried away with that knockout.

Broner wouldn't come flying in like a dumbass which Pacquiao did. He does try to fight at a measured pace but I feel he does better letting his hands go. Quit the Floyd copying and utilize that handspeed. He's lucky he's in the mediocre IQ era of now but he can use that to his advantage.

I see JMM really standing in front of him and turning him to catch him while he's off balance. I do like Broner tries to go to th body but as we know JMM is a master counterpuncher so that would be an intriguing scenario. I see JMM beating him be decision unless he slips badly.

:deal I have yet to hear Broner seriously entertain fighting him. Would want this fight more and this would show how good/bad Broner truly is.

:patschPeople never learn to wait for young fighters to develop before overrating the hell out of them. Especially Americans.

Exactly. Broner is hittable, very hittable. He's been lucky he's fought a string of idiots after PDL. He's actually never beaten anyone as good as PDL after that debatable win.

I say he's a brawler with a very high workrate and high-tempo offense but that's another story. Broner is good for this time but I just don't see what's special about him. And yes he's no Floyd but for this time he doesn't have to be. We still don't know how good he is or isnt as he hasn't decisively beaten anyone good.

Broner, as solid as he is, is no Floyd Mayweather. Especially not a 2009 Mayweather. Marquez beats him decisively.

Marquez would destroy Broner, no contest. What would Marquez have to gain from kicking Broner's ass? The win wouldn't mean much at this point.

JMM is 1000X better than DPDL.

    JMM is bigger than DPDL
    JMM is faster than DPDL
JMM has a better chin than DPDL
JMM is a multi-dimensional and DPDL is one dimensional.
    JMM is stronger
    JMM has better timing

    Broner gets KTFO.

    Fight will never happen.

Already lost to Floyd. To lose to Broner would be a disgrace.

With their style and speed, they are just too fast for JMM.:good
