People on here hyped up broner way too much, anyone with half a brain could see his defense wasn't NEARLY as impenetrable as people made it out to be, and he does not possess power at 147. People (including myself) got ridiculed for saying Provo would take it to Broner etc. etc. glad he finally got exposed so people can stop talking ****!

To say he is dreadful is to claim he doesnt have skills. The kid can ****ing fight. Tonight came down to him being at a weight he shouldnt be at in the first place. Kid was hurt on more than one occasion and was coming forward against the bigger man throwing bombs, he didnt run at all.

He is 24 and made some mistakes but he never quit and fought well given the circumstances he faced in the ring. Dreadful? Please

 

Come on. He looked like a welter to me. just couldn't take the punches at the weight from a heavy handed guy like Maidana. That's the danger when moving up. Besides, Maidana was at 140 not that long ago.

 

He still had pop to his punches, it's just that he doesn't ever throw a high volume of them. Maybe he'll learn how to actually box now and stop just trying to emulate Mayweather's style.

 

Granted i didn't think Chico would beat him but i never rated Broner and have said from day one he would get beaten at the elite level
