    Some observations:
Broner has a very wide stance which makes him seem shorter than he is
Maidana is taller than Broner, but it looked like Broner still carried more muscle mass

Size played little outcome in determining the fight, the fight was won and lost because of tactics and technique.

Broner doesn't move well laterally or at all for that matter, and with Maidana coming in hard with murderous intentions, there was only ever going to be one victor.

Show me evidence of fight-night weights for Floyd/Marquez?

Oh that's right, you don't have any.

Notwithstanding the hypocrisy of you talking about the effects of weight, but failing to mention how making a fighter come onto the scales @ 144 while you yourself come in heavier than that plays a big part.

    Yes. Maidana clearly dwarfs Broner.

I guess you are the only one who knows what a welter looks like.

Weighing in at the weight class limit doesnt mean you belong there.

People are saying that because broner wieghed in at 156 tonight that he is a welter and was the a same size as Marcos and that clearly isnt the case. That was the reason for the examples i gave.

You are being a total potato about this. If the guy weighed in @ 147 and then rehydrated the NEXT day by 10 pounds, he is clearly comfortable at that weight class.

PDL beat Adrien, pal. what's that got to do with him taking an L at welterweight against a real 147 pound fighter? Broner was a lot younger and less experienced going in with Ponce and almost got his first loss back then. But he improved after that fight and if he doesn't completely fall in to a spiral of depression he will be back and better because of the war he went through.

He went 12 with a beast like Marcos.....I give Broner his propps. I never thought he would've taken this fight to begin with.

Remember, Broner-hypers are like magpies. If it looks nice and shiny, it's good. Good, I tells ya!:deal

    Going by both fighters history.

Floyd not coming in 144 is irrelevant, it was a welter weight fight. The only outcome that could have came from him weighing 144 is being drained.

And you completely missed the point

There is no perfect match up. At 140 Broner is bigger then his opponent cause he can cut weight. Just cause he looks bigger at 140 and his opponent look smaller does not mean his opponent aren't junior welter.

Cleary dont know what you're talking about. Adrien was fat coming into camp, that could be the reason as to why he rehydrated 9 pounds. He was a lightweight last year, his body hasnt grown into 147

LOL, you are showing your true ***** colours. Everyone knows that was supposed to be a 144-lb catchweight fight.

Damn you are butthurt as hell right now. Fact of the matter is, Broner is at welter because that's the only weight the fat slob can still make. If he was fighting at 140 and getting the **** beat out of him by garcia or matthysse, you would be whining that he was too weight drained and struggling to make 140.

    :rofl

    Re: One Time-JSK

Sorry for the late reply, but I was responding to trakam's post. Agree completely with you and I should have put the word "premature" in quotes. Apologies for any confusion. :good
