AB will not retire. He has no other route to a paycheck. He will continue fighting until nobody will give him money to do it anymore.

So in your estimation, AB will never stand for Ain't Boxing?

In the last six years Figueroa has had four layoffs of more than a year and he has had just one win in five years. Despite those facts I still make him a favorite over Broner. Broner has also had just one win in the last five years and his normal sloth-like activity pace seems to have slowed to a snail's pace.

Ya know, the fact that these two guys have a total of two combined wins since 2017 means this fight is barely worthy of a Boxing Forum thread.

Yep hearing him speak in one of his latest interviews just screams I need money.. He mentioned how big his entourage used to be at his training camp but now it’s just his cornermen.. How many times do you have to see the guys with the big entourages go broke and the entourage disappear for you to understand how that situation works.

It shows the importance of family support system as I always like to compare Mikey Garcia to Adrien Broner. Both guys has had almost identical careers neither guy loved boxing but loved the financial rewards. The difference is Mikey’s support system assured that remain humble and not splurge on unnecessary things such as entourages, drugs and women. While Broners support system enable and joined along with his behavior..

Yeah, it is a career trajectory seen over and over again. Some people can't/wont listen to anyone when they you are young, dumb, and rich. Unfortunately for Broner, he didn't have people that cared about him like Mikey does.

I can see broner getting the gamboa treatment of retiring. I don't agree with it, but I understand. Money is money.
