Adrien Jerome Broner is 5' 7" 26 year old Light Welterweight/Welterweight with a 30-2 record that should really be 28-4. Broner is known primarily for his exceptionally stupid nicknames (AB, The Can Man, The Problem) and a dollar store version of the shoulder roll that is even less effective than Andre Berto's. The sound that comes out of his mouth whilst throwing resembles that of gay duck crossed w/ an autistic boy's moan. Broner fell onto hard times recently when he overestimated his talent and abilities against Marcos Maidana and found himself on the losing end of a decision when a badly drained Shawn Porter rallied from his pre-fight disadvantages to beat him wide. Prior to these 2 defeats, Broner was gifted w/ decision wins over his Mexican daddies Fernando Quintero and Ponce de Leon.

He also lost to Paulie, if you take into account the points he should've been deducted for kicking Paulie in the conkers, hitting on the break etc.

    He has no chin. NONE.

He lost if you take into count points that should've been deducted?

A thread I can agree with. He wasn't totally embarrassed by Maidana and Porter, he showed some guts but then again guys don't get to that level, protected and winging it or not, without some serious resilience. Talented fighter but nowhere near A level, maybe not even B to be honest.

Even without the bias ref I had it 7-5 to feathers.

He won easily with a fair ref.

I didn't score it so I wouldn't know, but the point I was going to make was that you can't magically deduct points and claim that's why [insert name] lost. And as far as Broner struggling with Paulie, it seemed Paulie's hand speed and Broner's inactivity was the factor for that. When Broner did let his hands go, he landed and landed well. Now whether that's justification for him losing to Paulie, I don't know; I didn't score that night.

Please don't insinuate Broner is an acceptable substitute for Mayweather, he doesn't have a fifth of Floyd's ability or achievements so Mayweather UDing Pacman has nothing to do with the topic.

Same goes for Z-man if he thinks Broner's shortcomings are a moral victory...

That's the same score I had for Broner v Kell Brook Junior™.

Kell Brook Jr™ won 11 rounds, Broner won 1 with the knock down but got that taken off the round before.

Only debate is whether the last round should've been 10-8 or 10-9 to Broner because Kell Brook Jr™ clearly won the round without the knock down.

So you thinking trying to kick someone in the conkers (and seemingly succeeding) isn't a point deductible thing to do? Hitting at least 5 occasions on the break? Hitting while your back is turned? Do you never see a total bias from ref's?

If not I suggest you watch Mayweather v Hatton and see the rules Cortez enforced, then follow that by watching Calzaghe v Hopkins and see how it is ref'd by the complete opposite rule set to favor the hometown boys.
