I honestly only watched this card for Wallin vs Breazeale.

    1. Santiago 10-9

Not much going on, very little offense from either.

I scored the Wallin/Breazeale fight for Wallin, 8-4 rounds, 116-112 points. I gave Breazeale round 6 and rounds 10-12. Wallin boxed very well for the first 8 rounds of the fight, showing good handspeed and ring movement. Breazeale threw too few punches, many of the ones he did throw were slow on the windup, and he had a hard time keeping Wallin in front of him. Finally Breazeale bit down on his mouthpiece and increased his workrate from Round 6 onwards, and though Wallin continued to do the sharper work for a few more rounds, by the 10th round he was either fading noticeably, or else he took his foot off the throttle, assuming he had the fight well in hand. Whichever it was, he became less active, and spent more time up against the ropes, where Breazeale did much of his best work with uppercuts, hooks, and crosses. Breazeale had a 4-1/2" reach advantage over Wallin, but his jab was a nonfactor in the fight. Postfight, Showtime's Brian Custer was really down on Breazeale, basically saying he should retire since his only future in boxing was as a gatekeeper. I think that might be a little harsh, especially given how after Wallin had breezed through the first 5 rounds, Breazeale had the inner fortitude to rally and make the fight competitive for the rest of the way.

I have never actually seen Santiago fight, but I will hang around to root against Broner.

Seems Berchelt is going down in flames anyway, so I am going to walk away form that one. Reading the round by round, he gave the first half away eerily similar to Lomachenko.
