    Not chin.

Although, Floyd was wobbled as he was coming in from that flush straight right maidana landed at the end of the third round of their second fight . But I feel that most anyone else would have gone down.

I really don't regard Hatton or Mitchel as welterweights.

Point taken, they came from lower weights. But so did Manny, Marquez's only KO at 147.

Either way, My point remains. Marquez's Power numbers are enhanced by fighting smaller fighters and Floyd's are hurt by fighting bigger fighters.

People don't understand, and I'll use an ATG as an example: Duran finished with approximately a 50% KO rate. I don't think anybody in their right mind would argue Duran had **** power. It was due to moving up in weight and fighting larger men. (His KO rate through his 135 pound run was around 80%+ if I recall)

Mayweather had power at the lower weight classes, (It was like a 75% KO rate at 130 pounds) and was dropping excellent boxers with a single shot. Maybe not "eyes in the back of their head" dropped, but they were going down. (I can't remember the name, it was early in Floyd's career, but he did drop somebody viciously with a hook. Dude left his feet, LOL)

Mayweather has good pop. Anybody who thinks Pacquiao is going to walk through his punches should not be taken seriously.

Even Pacquiao, dude has dipped under 60% KO Rate. Does anybody really want to argue that Pacman doesn't have pop in his punches based on that? No. Of course not, because to say such a thing is idiotic.

You don't need to KO a guy with a single punch to get his respect. An accurate, sharp shot will get their attention and back them off.

Floyd had a 74% KO ratio at 130. Marquez had a 70% KO ratio at 125. That's starting weights for both fighters encompassing the majority of both fighter's careers. Mayweather's KO% above his starting weight is 33%, Marquez is 36%.

That is not a picture of a person with more absolute power. You can argue relative power. Finally KOs in fights at 147 or higher --

    Floyd 3
    Marquez 1
    Pacquiao 0

You are correct, I missed Oscar. De La Hoya v. Pacquiao was at 147. Oscar came in at 145 and was 147 the night of the fight. 1.5lbs lighter than Pac, but it was a WW fight.

Jmm definitely has more power than Mayweather. Floyd kept his distance for a reason. Jmm tends to punch thru his targets, Mayweather rarely does.

Floyd has never traded and never will , its not his style.

Against Manny it would be suicide.

Floyd keeps it at distance , bang , bang , bang.

Pac was on his way to knocking out Marquez. Marquez was beaten up badly and ready to go when Pac let his defense down and got caught with a lucky punch. Marquez also had hired the world's top steroid expert as his strength and conditioning coach for that fight, yet he was still getting beaten badly......................
