For about three weeks have had discomfort in the soft tissue near my left hip that forces me to favor it when walking. Very ginger when I step down.

Taken various over-the-counter pain killers. No help. Considering resting it all-together for a few weeks; but I think I'd go bananas without walking that long.

Any home remedies work for you?

Definately rest it. I had a knee injury which could have healed in 6 weeks but I didn't rest and ended up with knee problems ever since. I did 3 peak challenge last week end and my knee is hurting once more I don't plan on running again for a month. rest is best.

If it still hasn't healed after a few weeks go see your doctor.

Rest seems to be the consensus here, BB. In my gut, guess I knew it, but didn't wanna give in to it. Hard head.
