Hi there I started boxing 2 years ago in September but never took it too seriously (didn't spar often, but learned technique etc from one of the trainers) due to school but I always had an ambition to become an amateur so I took the things I learned along with research and trained at home.

There seems to be a few pretty knowledgeable members on this website so I would greatly appreciate any advice or criticisms to improve my workout.

I'm about to start uni and they have a boxing gym there where I can spar etc but on the days I can't make it there this is the workout I will be doing:

    Monday, Wednesday & Friday
    Light jog
3x3min shadow with resistance bands with a 1 min fast skip in between each round
3x3min Teardrop bag with 1 min weaves/bobs on weaving bag
3x3min Heavybag with 1 min weaves/bobs on weaving bag
    5x1min 1-2 sprints
    Pullups-5,5,7
    Chinups-5,5,7
    Decline knuckle pushups-12,12,14
    Burpees-25,25,30
    Mountain climbers-3x30sec
    Core circuit-3x30sec
-bycicle crunches, reverse crunches, crunches, russian twists, supermans
    Plank-1:30min, 1:45min, 2min
    Stretch & warm down

    Tuesday & Thursday
    3x3min skip
    3x3min teardrop bag
    3x3min heavy bag
100 punches of each punch in increments of 25 on heavy bag of: jabs, straights, L Hooks, R Upper, L Upper & Left rib
    3x1min sprints
Leg circuit-3x30sec of Hindu squats, squat jumps, step jumps, lunges
    calf raises to failurex3
    Wall sit to failurex3
    Core
    L Sit to failurex3
    v-ups-3x30sec
    side Plank-1:30, 1:45, 2min
    Lower back raise 3x35sec
    Stretch & warm down

    Sunday
    Long run-round an Hour

Miscellaneous-Swim whenever i can in warmer months

    Thanks,

    Looks fine mate :)
With this sort of plan consistency patience and hard work count for the most.

Thanks mate, how often do you reckon I should up the rounds to be constantly challenging myself?
