I do stretching indepedent of Boxing, we can spend 2 hours stretching a session usually in a morning. About 11am when the body has warmed up, before the stretching they run on a vertical Treadmill. This helps there aerobic threshold, making the heart more efficent by 30%. Then stretch Dynamic and static I mix them up depending the area we are targeting that particular day. All good fun. :good
Yeah. I'm in Birmingham. I can't stand deskjobs, have to have a physical job. The most physical thing I done working at the gym was being forced to do the odd Body Pump class now and again which I absolutely hated as the high rep, extremely light weight **** does nothing for my training. The next thing was cleaning people's sweat, spit and hair off the floor and machines, not fun. Security has a broad field, is physical and half decent money. Want to get into the management side of things so obviously need a bit of experience in the industry first.
I wish I’d had this type of information growing up during my peak training years and then I doubt very much I’d be picking up as many injuries as I currently am…..or at least I wouldn’t have made some of the mistakes I made getting the injuries. Thinking back to some of the stupid crap I allowed myself to endure it’s mental. There’s a lot to be said for finding a coach who understands technique, body care and importantly psychology!
Psychodynamics of feel is how we evolve, all are senses have an association with it. Theres some very interesting work going on at the moment, as regards Gravity and impact. Results so far are going to leave a lot of people, scratching there Heads me thinks. . Its the chicken or the egg, is it the muscles ability to stretch or contract which gives better results.
