I can't stand most of the jump ropes I've been coming across.

I hate the leather ones, and the weighted ones.

I find I do better and can go faster with the plastic non-bearing jump rope.

Has to be 9 feet minimum. No shorter.

I tried the leather and I absoultely hate them, and the bearings and weights mess me up. I also kept buying some everlast ones which were perfect except the actual plastic would break off the little holder thing and smacked my sparing partner in the eye. Ooops!

Can anyone recommend me a good plastic, 9 foot jump rope? I keep searching but most are questionably brands and I'm tired of buying the everlast ones every other day.

Yeah but I guess I just used to not using them. I looked up some at titleboxing.com (didn't know that website exists) and they have some pretty good looking ones there.

They **** you on shipping though

    Everlast speed rope. $8 @ Wal-Mart.

  5. Yeah basic pvc speed ropes are good but dont shy away from leather/thick pvc all together, they are good hit to the shoulders.
