Never turned pro til age 31 after no amature background lost his first 4, then won some lost some, but found form after being outpointed by colin dunn, come back over to the uk and lifted the ibo title beating charles shepherd, ian mcLeod, dean pithie and alex moon. Then at the age of 41 become european champion makeing 4 defences. What a story this guy was any one know more about him?

He's a personal trainer. An absolutely amazing fighter. Truly inspirational and could box very well. Lovely style- little rough round the edges but was a very fit and skillful boxer.

Prime Gomez would probably have stopped him but this fight would have upset written all over it. He also fought Barry Jones and gave him a half decent fight. He was better then anyone not quite euro class. A bit below the more talented in the division.

I remember the bottle he showed licking most of our boys in their own backyards - a real road warrior. Moroccan fighters age well and have those hard heads (think of the late Najib Daho). Plus, Djelti could whack with that left hook. He was quite a fighter.
