Is it me or did alot of the fighters seem not used to the ring? In qiute a few of the fights guys were pushing there opponents up against the ropes and simply falling through them?! There was no attendants by the ring apron like in PRIDE to make sure the ropes werent used to any advantage. Either way the shelf that was there immediately outside of the ring seemed like a ******ed invention as some fighters fell on it quite hard and could have injured themselves. Also the refs seemed quite inept in that they didnt know when to or how to reset fighters that were too close too the ring apron and practically falling out of it? It didnt seem like an entirely professional show to me as a whole. Thoughts? One thing i will add is i thought John McCarthy was an excellent interviewer. He was on point asked some great questions and put it all together very well in comparison to his peers who just seemed like mental midgets. And Randy`s lost so much weight?! Dude looked skinny as hell!!
I think the refs weren't used to it. In Pride they were always prepared for dealing with fighters becoming entangled in the ring ropes - yet in Affliction everyone seemed shocked like - umm - we're stuck in the ropes - what do we do now?
Yeah, Randy had better watch out. I've been reading that a urine test that detects HGH has been developed. :think
Current tests can detect HGH. The problem is that each individual can have varying degree`s of the hormone present in there blood. Im not sure what the parameters can be or what could be construed as unnatural.
Lots of over the counter supplements can boost it pretty high for short durations. Still going to be hard to test for it and have proof, unless they make things like Macuma puriens and Gaba illegal.
