1. Cotto will change trainers and become more a boxer(He did box beautifully early in the fight, looked very quick also) 2. A rematch is pretty easy considering thay are both under top rank and that's basically where the money is (I dont think he would earn more money except fighting de la hoya or mayweather, which I think wont happen) 3. Right now the only who can beat margarito would be mayweather considering he is a natural boxer and could(not a mix between boxer-puncher like cotto) box margarito 12 rounds. Besides him if he steps up in weight he could encounter somme tough nuts up there also. Just my 2 cents.
The best possible senario for Miguel Cotto is that Margarito beats PW, which would give him Two belts. Cotto beats on Berto and tries to get the belt from the winner of Clottey/Judah. I can see Cotto and Margarito cleaning the Division and fighting a unification rematch fight. No way should Cotto fight Margarito immediately after this fight again...Just too soon. Cotto took a lot of punishment.
