    1. Exactly. So he can hardly critisise it can he? And as you can guess from the examples in my last post, he's not someone who speaks great sense.

    2. Perhaps it would? He hasn't added anyone better to his resume since his comeback!

Or even, carry on and win the Byrd fight, have three years off and come back!

The Klitschko hate alot of people have here on esb is on ped's. That's cheating.

But seriously, what the **** do people want, if Vitali was 43-0 then people would start screaming "he cherry picked anyone he ever fought". or "His record is overrated because he never fought anyone with a pulse".

The **** talking is becoming blind on here. I'm not saying Vitali is some goat fighter or something, rather that he is a legit, solid, respectable champion and person that deserves more respect than he gets.

I think the point about Vitali's injury is that his quitting will always be viewed as a let down and that's not the sort of thing ATGs do.

Did Ali quit with a broken jaw against Ken Norton? No.

It was one of the many things he did that made him great.

Was Klitschko retiring from the fight a sensible thing to do to preserve a longer career?
    Probably, yes!

Will he become a hero and ATG for playing it sensibly whilst hero's of the past have thrown caution to the wind and overcome adversity?

    No.

On that subject, lets not forget that Ali was seconds away from quitting against Frazier. That sure would've changed all that goat talk he gets.

I agree totally and a lot of others do too. But he's nothing more than that.

The reason the Klitschkos get so much **** is because some posters (that means you Bretchko and Farmboxer!) would have you believe they are the best heavyweights ever to grace a ring!

I'm sure that at the end of his career, after what he's achieved over-all since the Byrd fight he's still going to be in anguish crying himself to sleep each night because people on inter-net forums think he's a quitter.

He's still crying himself to sleep about his loss to Lewis!

What a nice bloke you make him out to be.
The kind of person who doesn't give a **** about the people (who include internet forum contributors) who have paid to watch all his fights over the years.
I cant help thinking a real champion might want to please those people?
