Pac shouldn't have fought Clottey, Margo, or Mosley. Those were ALL BS fights predicated on Manny DUCKING Mayweather. Now all of the excuses are GONE.

 

I understand I'm late to the party, but what the **** is there to even argue about? We aren't talking about "rumors" or "speculation", we are talking about direct quotes from the parties involved...I mean are we not? Arum/Top Rank/Team Manny how ever you want to label the principle party, has made it clear they don't want the PBF fight. Arum said PRIOR...PRIOR to the JMM that he's never been keen on making the fight because...He followed that up with the MGM Grand/May 5th tirade (which actually had little to do with Floyd directly, as much as the date and location itself that HE WANTED for Manny/Bradley fight according to Yahoo sports), concluding with the proclimation regarding Marquez IV literally minutes after the fight ended, concluding with the email from the retired federal judge who has acted as a mediator between the two sides stating Top Rank wasn't interested in negotiating a Mayweather fight because they prefer Marquez IV. All this information is a matter of public record and is there for anyone to see. It's nothing to do with "believing" Floyd, or buying into anything...I mean these have all been pretty definitive remarks. All the while Floyd has been clear from the beginning of the Ortiz press run, he wants the Pac fight and that continued all the way through the JMM fight. Once Arum and Team Pac went on the record directly with testing acceptance it's been all systems go from PBF, as he's said it would be all along. Like it or not, like him or not, he's been consistant in what he's asked and he honored what he said, the minute it was public from Arum testing wasn't an issue...they have aggressively pursued the fight. Again, it doesn't matter who you root for, or who you think will win, etc these things are a matter of public record and are all out in the open and there for anyone to see...what's to argue about? I mean is everyone not pursuing the same end goal, are we as fans not trying to see "The Fight", if so I'm not sure what's to debate, it's been laid out pretty clear for everyone to see.

 

When Pac ran away the first time. That was all the evidence I needed to come to the conclusion that he really didn't want the fight with Floyd. No Pac fan can deny what there hero did during that negotiation. His actions were that of a coward looking for a way out, when Floyd accepted his demand. His bluff was called and he couldn't man up to it. Not one time has he call Floyd out and not one time did this dude really act as if he really wanted the fight to began with. Now here we are, Floyd called him out again. May 5th is the date, and already Arum is coming up with lame excuses to why the fight may not happen. Manny looks good when he's fighting brawlers and stationary targets, but against a boxer he struggles. Floyd is to much of a boxer for him. Pac knows it, Arum knows it and Roach knows it.
