there is actually no certainty that the K2s will be remainign as champs, when adamek is ready. adamek already has 2 fights scheduled & anything can happen in this time.

could anyone believe it when tyson lost to douglas? hence holyfield, who had become a heavyweight contender after a reign as cruiserweight king, fought the ordinary buster douglas in his heavyweight title debut...

if adamek beats arreola, he's an HBO fighter, and HBO will put the money up for adamek-haye...this is a great start, a tremendous fight, a real challenge for both men.

i disagree. if haye thinks he is going the distance (abdoul, valuev), he is defensive and throws hardly any punchers. this makes him very hard to hit, and he can be frustrating.

on trhe other hand, i can see haye using all his firepower just to keep adamek off, causing big damage on adamek's face. with haye then tiring, adamek taking his body and scoring a late stoppage.

haye is a massive threat to adamek. if it's in a british ring, the british ref will jump in the first time adamek gets shaken. adamek will get shaken, because he carries his chin high. haye is expert at stealing openings vs upright fighters, such as 7' valuev (round 12, left hook), 6'6 gurov (round 1", right hand), 6'4" maccarinelli (round 2, right hand). I would favour adamek to win a vazquez-marquez 2 or vazquez-marquez 3 type of fight over haye.

    Adamek should target Haye.

Plus i think Adamek would do Haye mid rounds.

Where's the evidence for this statement? it seems to me both men have been knocking out upper tier opponents for some time now and have been doing so with single punches. Based on what do you conclude that Adamek is a lighter puncher? Note: fighter's nationality doesn't count as a reason.

i'm as enthusiastic as anyone about adamek. but i think many posters on these threads are sleeping on the likes of haye, povetkin, even boytsov.

haye has proven pedigree, with 2 world titles. he may be a pretty boy, may not like getting hit, but he did grind down both fragomeni and mormeck in memorable fights. if nothing else the valuev fight showed he had a great defense, and discipline (perhaps too much discipline).

he coud surprise adamek, and the adamek fans, with his tactics. haye has not been active, he went from fighting barrett (fairy small) to valuev (a literal giant). i think he deserves some benefit of the doubt here. we're going to see him fight regularly (ruiz in april) and from then he can grow as a fighter.

haye had to wait a long time before both mormeck and valuev fights. he deserves big credit for at least sticking to his game plan, staying cool and beating two world class fighters in their backyards.

    haye is a threat, IMO.

Of course he is a threat and it makes this possible fight so exciting. As I see Adamek beating Haye, I am aware of this that for majority of people here Adamek will be the underdog in such a fight.
