    mikkel kessler
    andre ward
    andre direll
    carl froch
    arthur abraham
    jermain taylor

    and the rest.

    big names.

ward & direll are the 2 best boxers at sm. we know this now for sure. since froch totaly dominated bute and froch got beat on points easily by direll. also kessler beat froch and the new and improved kessler we saw vs allan could be the best version ever. also dont underestimate arthur, he has been outclassed, still he had his moments even against the best ward. who said "arthur got rocks in his hands" in an interview.

The Super 6 was a breath of fresh air for boxing. Anything that encourages better match-ups is good for the sport :good

since kessler probably is goin to make an career at lh, also arthur finishing his career soon. there is only one obvious fight left to 100 % determin who the best sm in the world realy is and that is ward vs direll. direll bro would get picked apart by ward, since he only knows offence. that dude from africa ostouizen is nothing special and adonis just a puncher waiting to get outclassed by an superb technician boxer. a bulked up martinez would still be to small and I doubt a dyhydrated dawson would be very good at sm.

    exactly.

imagine this event at welterweight, even without pac & may it would be super good. brook, mike jones, turkish power puncher aydun, ortiz, berto, jessie vargas. oh boy....they should do more of those kind of events. it would be such an boost for boxing in general when more often tournaments between the best 6 boxers in 1 division would happen.

The Darchinyan - Agbeko -Mares was even better. More pedigree.

Hmm.. i dont agree at all.. How can you rate Dirrell that high? What have he achiveed that makes him no 2 in sm? He lost to Froch, won against abraham, if this is what is takes to be ranked no 2?

Anyway... off topic, it would be great to see Ward fight in either Copenhagen or Nottingham, just to clearify that it had nothing to do with home turf refs that he won against Kessler and Froch...

    My rank:

    1. Ward
2&3 Kessler/Froch - seems they will fight this autumm..
    4. Dirrell
    5.Bute
    6. Johnson,

This is a terrible terrible post. one of the worst i've seen on this site.
How is Dirrell the 2nd best in the division when Froch beat him, Abraham dropped him and was putting it on him when the ridiculous finish happened in that fight.
He has 1 win in 2 years against a guy who wasn't even a fringe contender.

There is absolutely no way the Kessler who beat Green was the best ever version of him he's clearly slipped quite a bit from the 06-07 version of Kessler.

However I do agree with you that the super 6 was a great idea.

Dirrell got beat by Froch. In all honesty, Dirrell should have been disqualified. This is not MMA. I do not want to see two guys hugging.

Super Six was great for boxing....I think we are in for even more great match ups after the result of the weekend....Froch Kessler II.....and Bute will probly get a shot at one of the Andres now...or Arthur....this division is still getting more exciting
